Installation & Commissioning

On-site installation, commissioning, and CPCB/SPCB integration scheduling

For systems requiring on-site installation and commissioning (CAAQMS, CEMS, VOC monitors, OCEMS, weather stations, LED display boards, and vision systems), delivery and installation are managed as part of a structured project schedule.

Pre-Delivery

Site Readiness Check

Before instrument delivery, our team confirms that civil work, electrical supply (and stabilizer/earthing if required), and site access are ready. We share a Site Readiness Checklist upon order confirmation.

Delivery

Instrument Supply to Site

Instruments are delivered to the client site in factory-packed condition. The client is required to provide suitable unloading assistance for heavy systems (e.g., CAAQMS shelter, CEMS cabinet).

Installation

Mechanical & Electrical Installation

Our field engineers carry out complete installation including probe insertion, 19" rack integration, cabling, data logger connection, and CPCB/SPCB IoT configuration. Timeline: typically 2–5 working days on-site.

Commissioning

Commissioning, Testing & Handover

Full system testing, CPCB/SPCB server integration, PCB norm data validation, and client training. Commissioning report, calibration certificates, and operation manual are issued at handover.

πŸ›

Installation Scheduling

Installation visits are scheduled by mutual agreement between the client and our engineering team. We typically schedule the installation visit 1–2 weeks after instrument delivery to allow for site preparation. Installation dates are confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp). Changes to installation dates require a minimum of 3 working days' notice.

7

Packaging & Handling Standards

How your instruments are prepared for safe transit

All instruments and systems dispatched by Global Envirotronics are packaged to withstand the rigours of road, rail, and air freight transit across Indian conditions β€” including vibration, humidity, and temperature extremes.

  • All instruments are packed in original manufacturer packaging with appropriate internal cushioning and anti-static protection where required
  • Fragile analytical instruments (gas analysers, optical sensors) are double-boxed with foam inserts, clearly labelled "FRAGILE" and "THIS WAY UP"
  • Calibrated instruments are secured in calibration-safe positioning to prevent sensor damage during transit
  • All accessories, cables, manuals, calibration certificates, and documentation are packed and itemised on a packing slip inside the box
  • Custom-built systems (CAAQMS stations, CEMS cabinets, vision systems) are crated in timber/plywood crates with internal foam bracing
  • Filter tape rolls and consumables are sealed in moisture-proof packaging to preserve integrity during transit
  • Electronic component orders are packed with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection materials as standard
  • Every shipment includes a Delivery Note / Packing List for verification on receipt

8

Inspection on Receipt of Delivery

What to do when your instruments arrive on-site

Upon receipt of any delivery from Global Envirotronics, we strongly recommend that the authorised representative of the client performs the following inspection before signing the delivery receipt / POD (Proof of Delivery):

  • Check outer packaging β€” inspect for visible transit damage, dents, tears, or moisture ingress before accepting the consignment
  • Count all packages β€” verify the number of boxes, crates, or pallets matches the Delivery Note / Packing List
  • Open and inspect contents β€” cross-check instruments and accessories against the Packing List
  • Check for physical damage β€” inspect instruments for any visible damage to enclosures, displays, probes, or fittings
  • Verify model and serial numbers β€” confirm that delivered instruments match the Purchase Order specifications
  • Check included documents β€” confirm calibration certificates, manuals, ATEX certificates, and warranty cards are included
🚨

Report Damage or Discrepancy Within 48 Hours

Any damage, shortage, or discrepancy discovered at the time of delivery MUST be reported to Global Envirotronics in writing (email or WhatsApp) within 48 hours of delivery. Photograph the damage and packaging before disturbing the contents. Claims reported after 48 hours may not be entertained. Do not sign the delivery receipt as "Good Condition" if damage is visible β€” note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

9

Delivery Delays & Force Majeure

Circumstances that may affect delivery timelines

Global Envirotronics makes every effort to meet committed delivery timelines. However, certain circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause delays. We will proactively communicate any anticipated delay and provide revised timelines at the earliest opportunity.

Circumstances that may cause delivery delays include:

  • Import and customs clearance delays for internationally sourced instruments
  • Extended manufacturing lead times at OEM / manufacturer due to global supply chain disruptions
  • Logistics disruptions β€” road closures, strikes, natural disasters, extreme weather
  • Delays in component availability for custom-built systems (power supplies, ATE, vision systems)
  • Regulatory or export certification processing delays (ATEX, CE documentation)
  • Government-declared public holidays, bandhs, or emergency restrictions
  • Client site not ready for delivery or installation as per agreed readiness checklist
  • Incomplete or delayed advance payment by client
  • Changes to order specifications requested by client after PO confirmation
πŸ“’

Our Commitment During Delays

In the event of any anticipated delay, our team will: (1) Notify the client in writing as soon as the delay is identified; (2) Provide a revised estimated delivery date; (3) Offer interim solutions where possible (e.g., loan units for critical applications on a case-by-case basis). We do not accept liability for consequential losses arising from delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

10
